artTunes Art Observatory serves as an artistic observatory dedicated to observing, visualizing, and analyzing human artistic activity and its effects.

We observe not only artworks themselves, but also the thoughts, bodies, environments, emotions, relationships, and social structures behind acts of creation, as well as the transformations that art brings to people and society. By visualizing and analyzing these effects, we aim to communicate the value of art to society in ways that have not yet been sufficiently articulated.

In order to move even slightly closer to the fundamental human question — “What is true art?” — artTunes is attempting to build an unprecedented foundation for observing, accumulating, and analyzing artistic activity on a human scale.

If large-scale observation of human creative activity and its effects becomes possible, we may come closer than ever before to understanding questions such as “What is true art?” and “What does true art bring about in humanity?”

Such observation could open an entirely new field for understanding not only art itself, but also how humanity has formed emotions, relationships, societies, and evolution throughout history.
